WHAT WE OFFER
FOSTER A CHILD IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
Fostering is open to people from all walks of life—no specific qualifications are required, and many of our carers haven’t been birth parents themselves. At Apex Support Northamptonshire, we’re looking for individuals with big hearts, resilience, and compassion who can provide stability and care to young people. A good sense of humour and a loving home environment can make a significant difference for children who haven’t had the best start in life. Whether you’re fostering alone or with a partner, in rented accommodation or local authority housing, you can create a safe and nurturing space where children feel valued and integrated into family life. Your fostering journey begins here.

Can you be in a same-sex relationship?Absolutely. Your ability to foster is not determined by your sexual orientation. What matters is your ability to provide a safe and loving environment for the child.
-
Can you be single?Yes, single people can foster. Your relationship status doesn’t impact your eligibility as long as you can meet the needs of the child.
-
Can you have a life/when could you look after yourself (mental health)?Yes, you will still get your own personal time, fostering doesn’t mean you lose your independence or time to care for your own mental health. We provide fostering support to ensure you maintain your wellbeing.
